I was referring to the cost of EdenCrete in it's infancy - It would have a higher cost to produce a smaller industry volume (demand). As production increases to meet higher demand, the cost should come down and yes, less volume ultimately equals less cost to the builder. EdenCrete may be more expensive as a product, not sure if a cost benefit analysis has been done?
Whilst in it's infancy I don't see why it can't be pushed into specific use areas where permeability is a problem. Ultimately I could see Edencrete becoming mainstream.
In the interim I think education is important to Engineers (who design) and Builders (who tender and could offer it as an alternative solution).
I'm thinking way beyond the current US situation. All in good time.
