My strategy was to sell out of EDE and buy more TAS when their SP's were at parity earlier this year. FYI: Before I continue, in addition to the above portfolio changes, I have bought and sold both EDE & TAS shares several times over the last few years for various private reasons (buying a flat, paying for the kids education etc.).

With regard to your point that there is "no point in holding them both", this is only partly correct. When I bought EDE in 2014 I saw them as the better vehicle in order to profit from EDE's entry into the concrete additives market with EdenCrete. This decision turned out to be 100% correct i.e. around April 2016 I sold a large part of my EDE shareholding at a very substantial profit. Around mid 2018 I then bought a large parcel of TAS shares, and have been topping up ever since every time the TAS goes below 3 cents. These days, I see TAS as the better vehicle due to their major share in EDE, but far more so due to their JV with FMG at Vulcan and their 100% owned Pernatty project.

My short to medium term forecast is that if either Pernatty or Vulcan come up trumps, or both, the TAS SP will rally significantly. If so I would then take my profits in TAS and buy EDE. Providing of course that the EDE SP is a whole lot cheaper than TAS. And providing that EDE is making significant progress with both EdenCrete and EdenPlast (which they should be doing).

With regard to the your question about whether FMG has a hydrogen project joint venture with EDE or somebody else, FMG has no Hydrogen JV with either EDE or TAS. However, I would not rule this completely out at sometime in the future. IMVHO, Andrew Forrest (from FMG) just might be looking to become a steel producer in the near future. He could then supply Iron Ore from FMG to his own steel making plant, using Hydrogen as an energy source. This would be a huge move towards reducing the CO² emissions in the steel industry as well as significantly improving FMG's overall carbon footprint (FYI: I also hold FMG shares).
