I'm not so sure the upperbound is $5m. My reading of the announcement is that there are multiple minimum targets (I'm guessing relating to # of transactions, $value of transactions, #of customers, etc) that EFTPay must reach, and depending on how many of those minimum targets are met, SPT gets between $2.5m and $5m. Key word for me is the reference to minimum sales targets. The whole announcement to me just quantifies the value of what hitting minimum targets are worth to SPT. No mention of maximum -- presumably there is no upperbound. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but that's how I'm interpreting things.
