Do you realise APT are signing up 7,900 new customers a day, plus have 90% repeat usage?
Comparing SPT to APT is useless. APT has carved out it’s position in the AUS/NZ/USA & now UK market place. SPT has to now do the same for investors to take it seriously.
SPT will need to fund merchants directly & upfront. It’s the only way this model will work. The concept is great and no doubting consumers will love it and want to use it but retailers are not interested. A company like Best Buys in the USA would ideally love to have SPT, but consider if even 10% of their sales were done on SPT, that’s 10% of sales they will not get the revenue for instantly but have to take payments each month. It’s not feasible for large national retailers, which is why SPT can only sign up small operators.
