It's plausible to believe that if EG thought that OLI had any sort of value as a going concern, then they probably would have made an offer. If they did then I'd imagine that the offer was so low that it made OLI's executives a bit ill.
So given the original agreement wasn't reached, EG obviously felt that the business was worth nowhere near $0.10 per share. Surely that's a warning to investors that may still be holding out?
