Wow! I literally just took my hat off to you, Petey. I'm sure everyone else feels the same way. Thank you so, so much for taking the time to explain things to me. I truly appreciate it.
So, it is the China angle...the growth potential and the relative LACK OF COMPETITION (notwithstanding local talent), compared to the more mature markets like the US and Europe, that attracts you. See, I didn't know that about China's IT market, it has always painted an image in my head of a vibrant and highly competitive IT industry with lots of players. Great! Room to grow into!
You mentioned that this forumn is still referrencing the old SME business model, using VIN, but that it wasn't scalable, and so we had to move on from VIN in the last 18 months, and that we're now targeting large enterprise-level clients with newer scalable, 4G/5G enabled tech. Ok, so I love the new business model, I like it! Is this where our VSN comes into the picture? Is this the scalable new technology that you were referring to. If so, what are your thoughts on it, in relation to what the chinese incumbent SDWAN providers have to offer? But, perhaps it's not as important anymore? given what you said about level of competition in China? Not sure. I mean, ultimately, our tech still has to compete, no? Anyway what do you know about our VSN...or have they moved on from this too, to something newer, as they did VIN?
Lastly, I agree totally, that with the changed business plan of now targeting large enterprise-level clients, as you said, the work becomes a lot more complex. Question: how do you feel about our team competence...that is, the level of our technical expertise to undertake these larger, more complex jobs (is it us who will be doing the engineering/designing and implementation or our partners?).
Cheers mate, you've put a smile on my dial. I love discussing the s$@t that matters.
