mbot, where did I say batteries won't change? I said the opposite but presented reasoning why manufacturers may not implement changes due to economics, cost benefit analysis and would need to provide a superior advantage to their current batteries.


It is pure economics and business sense. What business would alter their car design that they spent millions or hundred of millions on designing for a 10% increase in battery performance. To alter a battery means you have to alter the cars design, not an easy task.

And of course companies are looking at reducing the cobalt usage, who wouldn't. You really need to read my post again, you accusations are unfounded.
