I sold my last MFG a little while back. So while I have no skin in the game I felt obliged to wade into this one.
This vote/proposal seems outrageous. It seems beyond a joke that when the capital of shareholders has been so badly wiped out they are taking another million bucks. If they have such faith in their company they should be all backing the truck up and therefore really linking their financial future to the business. Taking the cash on an income basis (if that is the fine print) while shareholder capital washes away simply ensure that when the tide goes out they all have their wetsuits on.
