While I don't disagree with any of sentiments expressed here, isn't it time to take a much more pragmatic view.
There was always a good chance of defeating the soa (which happened) however success for the 249d was always a bit more remote particularly with another group making all sorts of claims and effectively supporting the status quo
So, now, will Cottee take this Company forward? It is plainly obvious that a fair bit of nonsense was said during the soa and this has been discussed at length. Cottee seems oblivious to his previous doomsday prophecies which I can understand makes people trust him less, however we know the Company does need some capital so each holder must decide whether they want to be part of that or just let others take more shares!
Many holders will have already felt like they've been bled dry over the years, however a poor take up by holders will give the Company plenty of ammunition / excuses to raise funds by other methods further weakening the position of minority holders.
Personally feel like this was the game we entered by wanting defeat of the soa and we knew we would be tapped for some funds - surely this offer doesn't surprise anyone and appears all above board and usual!! I don't like just giving up at first hurdle (but understand there will be many who will not participate for good reason)
Anyway not advice, everyone must do what they believe is right for them and their capital.................
