on the basis that all Algorithmic Trading and Shorting should be banned for several reasons (1) it is destroying the confidence of Retail Investors ( They are beginning to think the Market is rigged (2) it is destroying the Value of good mid tier Companies which in turn destroys the Performance of every Australians Superannuation Fund (3) The Markets lack transparency (4) There is a whiff of collusion (5) Good Companies like BPT will never be allowed to survive and prosper for the benefit of all Australians they will be Taken Over and profits will be gone we Australians own very little except Residential Real Estate not even Vegemite.
May be i have lost the plot but i feel we are being manipulated and taken for a ride.
Thank you for your patience in reading this Rant but i felt you are one of the most respected wise and learned Posters
on this Forum it is only people such as you can bring about change to a Gut Less ASIC and Political Leaders
