Had an initial chuckle when I read this announcement with latest comments cementing the themed mantra - "laser focussed" on Heemskirk. Did a bit of a look at why they appear to have progressed with this tenement:

# Previous exploration in Ringville was carried out Argent Minerals who after some recent exploration success elected to focus on Kempfield / surrounding area projects along with Copperhead in WA. Previous exploration in this area has been carried out for over 50 years:

Argent highlighted that the Salmon Veins section was of high priority. "The vein system defined by historical surface mapping and drilling has a strike length of approximately 1.2 km and has been intersected down to 305 metres below surface. The mineralisation is open both along strike and a depth".
"Excellent potential for new discoveries over Salmons Vein of parallel vein sheets and mineralised dilatational structures. Mineralised sheet veins are continuous and extensive – good potential to complete JORC Resource with further drilling".




# The other part of the equation in exploration is the many hours of modelling (magnetics & gravity) carried out by MRT which suggest that the granite lies between 500-2,000m in various parts of the tenement. Tin is the kicker potential along with the theory which "suggests two major mineralised structural corridors that strike approximately northeast but wrap into cross cutting northwest trending faults associated with the Federal-Bassett Fault that is the principal control on the location of the Renison Tin Mine".

# With Concert Creek highly complimenting this corridor of exploration, the antimony potential is another possibility. Up to 6% rock chip samples & nearology to Lode Resources Montezuma East Antimony Silver project is also a positive.

Can't help but be impressed in the years of research/modelling that the MRT have carried out for potentially our benefit. The application of modern technology makes this a highly valued corridor of prospectivity with the potential of tin or Argent's theory with polymetallic metals such as Salmon Veins. The optionality of creating an initial JORC resource with a modest level of drilling is also a plus. Not sure how this will progress but it definitely adds value if the Heemskirk project were to be sold. If we were to progress on our own accord, can't help think there is an awful lot to work with. I do think we were lucky in the ballot but do see the benefit of these two tenements now adjoined as an exploration corridor.
