whether you like it or not the 10 year yield is most likely going higher(not to mention further down the curve). This will put downward pressure on gold spot. Short term the gold market could be in for a bit of a battering. I personally feel that YCC will be enacted at some point despite the FED vehemently stating its opposition to it. Until then rising yields are a negative for the gold market and in extension gold miners. Do not be surprised to see gold spot down testing the lower bound of the 1600s
