I'm with you on this Mr D. AQR are aiming to mine Co @ 813ppm & depths of up to 500m though they are talking a resource of 73.3mt. 40 holes for 766m drilled by JRV = 19m av. with the results showing the greatest depth at 33m. What is below?? You could dig this out with a front-end loader.
The av. Co result is around 2000ppm so I guess the Co in place is approx. 3,250t - @ US$30k / t makes this not a bad offset to the cost of mining the Sc. I don't know the logistics of processing these 2 ores but would like to hear from someone more knowledgable than myself.
Nigeria is an unreliable, high sovereign risk supply (60-70%)for the worlds cobalt which will be needed in these new fangled batteries everyone is queuing up to make.
