Elanco was taking over Bayer AG, they started this process back in August 2019, and it was unclear if they would succeed. So I believe it all went through for them at the end of July this year. Perhaps their contribution to this has hindered their ability $$ wise, to partner with PAA. PAA may have been their back up plan . It doesn't take away the fact that the drug MPL works, and I am confident another big player will want in on this.
Its a good time to buy more IMO..
