I still stick with my hypothesis we have a sizeable parcel being sold by an entity. Bot selling has been very active. Also using the tactic of dumping a parcel, then momentarily removing several lines in the sell queue to open up a 1 or 2c buy/sell gap with a view to enticing buyers to enter into the gap, then dump on them again. I've been watching the second by second trading pattern on my platform. Thats an organized tactic ( several sell ines disappearing in a flash), not something easily accomplished if you have a multitude of sellers looking to exit. I sense a degree of desperation here by this seller given the excellent yield being relinquished. So clearly needs to raise $$ in a bit of a hurry. Price might go lower but seems to have today stabilized at 55c. For much of today I noted we had a 54.5c buy queue and a 55.5c sell queue, with no on-screen sells or buys at the midpoint 55c, even for long periods of time. But during this time, trades were still being done at 55c, so to me means the seller went off-screen and anyone putting in a bid at 55c was hit in a millisecond. Sort of suggests that at least today this seller was not in a hurry to go to 54 or 54.5c. Maybe then 55c is the floor. for now Possibly to be maintained until the seller has completed the order.? If it is a substantial holder unloading a parcel, we should get a change of substantial holding announcement, but I'm not sure what the ASX time limit is for reporting such.
