yeah but with the end of the Rural Bank arrangement, they lose the money they made from deposits, and I am not sure if they received a referral fee for any loans. Commercial finance typically is higher risk higher yield stuff that banks dont lend on and you also have to fund it by borrowing. For a farmer with a relationship with a bank it is easier and cheaper to finance stock than via a higher cost commercial finance arrangement.
No way a start up commercial finance operation will replace $11m of the Rural bank contribution
