I think with something like fertilizer you may have wanted to buy up at a certain point earlier this year, with the thinking being to get your hands on as much as you can before prices rise even further.....The risk is if you are carrying a lot of stock and the opposite happens (say for example the Russians give up on Ukraine...not likely I know....) then you can get caught out by carrying too much stock.
