- fear from uncertainty ceo retiring, weather, russia retreat, ammonia and oil prices, USD decline, interest rates
- potential flood impact from 1 sector of their business
- loss of past tax rate benefits
- view on increased expenditure (they hired a lot of talent)
All short term really and nothing material to say there is a significant problem. don't get me wrong it warranted a price reduction I just feel the sell off got way overcooked.
With the current macro environment and inflation risks one thing you want to be in is agri stocks and this is the pick or the crop being so diversified. The reality is 90+ % of stocks will likely be in decline in the coming months to year. The question will be which ones are you comfortable to sail through the rough weather with.
