Mr Allison said the outlook for crops in NSW and Queensland is good/above average, but Victoria and South Australia require further rain.

Western Australia lacks rain but 50 per cent has been dry seeded. There will be applications of weed control products later.

Across the last six weeks, an analyst was informed that ELD has been able to keep the momentum going.

Having to source products from third parties has largely ceased. The CFO is comfortable with ELD's inventory position.

Re the 12 per cent stake in New Zealand's PGG Wrightson, ELD bought in a couple of years ago. ELD will continue to be patient despite difficult market/livestock conditions and Board changes after input from a major SH. (I am not familiar with this situation so DYOR).
