Don't be too hard on yourself Kev, remember the price signals tend to anticipate the deficit and then supply side response. I.e. specualtors will start buying early and they should because actual building of mines and metal production would take years.
You will note for example OZ minerals is building the decline to Carapettena now, before the official go ahead is even given.
