The average annual production costs for 2017 envisage a cost of $ 1.35 to $ 1.50 / Lb to be paid in copper and a continuous cash cost between $ 1.65 to $ 1.80 / lb to be paid in copper.

Based on these data, a conservative back of the envelope calculation has AVB booking a pre-tax profit of $US1/lb copper plus gold credits (range $US25.7 - $US27.1 million per annum). EPS is approx 0.01c.
