re: Ann: Elevated Hydrocarbon Shows Recorded ... Doesn't seem like a great ann to me, and they are not telling us everything regarding the DST flows.

They have elevated HC shows through the section, but the DST didnt have a "significant flow". Well, why couldn't they tell us what the actual flow was? Did they not even manage to reverse out any fluid? This is a poor report on the DST IMO. However, the statement about the pressures seems to indicate there was some flow.

the petrophysics suggest porosities of 5-11%, which is not too bad and you would expect some permeability with that. But then they go on to say that the hot shale "may be oil bearing", as if they are not really sure. So if the DST flowed fluid, which they intimate with their talk of flow pressures, why didnt they reverse it out and test it? this would prove the presence of oil.

something is missing here.

Any thoughts?

PSI81, do you follow BKP? what are your thoughts on the DST results?
