Ann: Ellex awarded $2.5m Federal Government Grant-ELX.AX, page-4

Not much initially but I view it is a positive, and deserved more than the 1% rise in SP. A $2.5m sum payable over 3 years - with free publicity and brand recognition courtesy of the Federal Government is a positive.

As per the release, ELX is upgrading it's production capabilities to accommodate for it's increased demand across it's Asian markets. As a shareholder, I would expect increased revenue and more cost-effective margins across the production of it's lasers.

Plus, ELX would've had to have made these upgrade themselves at one point so good on ELX management for securing a grant without having to dip into our own finances.
