I re-read yesterdays announcement carefully. It stated that the iTrack device "leaves nothing behind" and all other implantable MIGS devices of various designs are permanently place in the eye".
I take it that means all other forms of MIGS leave something permanently in the eye (including Glaukos). Is that the case? If so Ellex could be on to something really unique and special. Potentially other MIGS could run into the same sort of problems Novartis had with the CyPass Microstent.
