Hi Littlepuss, I don't have evidence on link between VTI and BHVI, but here's a link on the design of the extended focus contact lenses

Also, unfortunately for VTI, Johnson and Johnson have a similar product in Acuvue 1-day multifocal which are available in multiple countries, unlike VTI which seems to be only available in the US.
So this telling me they don't have a patent for it.
