We are now locked in to the USA' Dept of Defense via a supply contract through Elmet Technologies.
We are now officially a USA domestic source for tungsten, a critical and economically important mineral
We now have an "application pending" into the USA coffers to ENSURE succesfull extraction of that mineral

This is a laid down misere - I dont think the DoD is going to deliberate on this one for very long at all......!

Aussie tungsten locked in for US supply deal

Australian-based EQ Resources (EQR) has locked in a five-year tungstensupply deal with leading US-owned and fully integrated tungsten manufacturer,Elmet Technologies.

The agreement provides the parties a pathway to jointly work on USGovernment funding opportunities, with the aim to enhance critical materialssupply and further downstream integration of EQR’s tungsten concentrate intothe US tungsten supply chain.

The tungsten will primarily head to the US from EQR’s Mt Carbine mine inNew South Wales, as well as its Barruecopardo operation in Spain.

Commenting on the $30 million deal, EQR chief executive officer KevinMacNeill also celebrated a production boost at Barruecopardo.

“Formalising arrangements with US-owned Elmet Technologies is a keystrategic pillar in the path forward
for EQR as we continue to build ourreputation as a reliable western producer of tungsten concentrate to theworld,” MacNeill said.

“Critical mineral security continues to be a top priority globally asthe world navigates geopolitical events and a shortage of quality criticalmineral deposits.

“This is why EQR is joined by its key strategic partners and continuesto invest in its high-quality tungsten operations in Spain and Australia.

EQR and Elmet have submitted a joint white paper under the US DefenceIndustrial Base Consortium grant program, which is open to industry partners inAustralia, Canada and the UK. An outcome of the application is pending.
