The non dilutive sources of funding were clearly stated by the company some time ago to be US infrastructure investors lending the capital cost of the plants to purchasers thus no ongoing financing liability to EMC. Nothing more, nothing less.
The company was always going to need capital to establish manufacturing capability, hold just in time stock and expand their sales and marketing people, blind freddie could see that.
As for investors being advised of a capital raising ahead of time, wow that would be a first.
