I think this so called "setback" is a bit ho hum. Did we have a right to expect that the very next announcement from the company was a US plant order? That one was coming , sure, but the timetable was not ours to set.
A couple of points. USVI is a part of the US. The plant there is under the supervision of the US EPA. California is absolutely important - but there are at least 50 other states. Nevada, Arizona, Texas all certainly have drought/water issues. Florida University definitely took great interest in the VI plant. The question I have is this: Stanford's accreditation spinoff CR2C was specifically designed to trial mobile setups - where they can plug into a "flow" and test the waters so to speak - and it provided an opportunity for many player to trial new tech. So is the plant that Emefcy provides them to test a static plant, or one that is containerised (for ease of mobility)? If the latter I don't see a great delay in providing said plant, and as they said they would test it for 3 months. So let's just say for arguments sake that within 5 months the dust will have settled on this ) It could not be much longer than that for a static plant either. I don't see the US team being idle in this time and there would seem to be opportunity outside of California. And certainly outside the US. Mighty ancient Rome also had flush toilets - but it wasn't built in a day. Anyone think this stock is overpriced must have been factoring in revenue about ...now.
