To arrive at pure “profit” you need to subtract the AISC. And the annual tax paid in Cambodia (was around USD$20M for 2023) The savings, now Sprott paid off, were quoted in the release as Aussie Dollars per month – which you’ve mixed in with USD$.

Never managed to get to the bottom of a dividend question I’d posted here previously which I couldn’t find an answer to online – hoping someone wiser knows.

As all EMR profit is currently earned outside of Australia – no dividends can be paid. That is the current status.

When two mines are up and running which means a portion of profit will be earned in Australia, is it only that portion of profit earned in Australia that can be used for dividend payment. Or does it mean the whole company profit be used for dividends?

Given that in approx. 2 to 3 years time, the largest portion of EMR income will still be earned abroad – does that mean only (one third?) of profit then, can be utilised for dividend payment?

Profit earned offshore will be paying for the two new mines etc. But would be interesting to understand how EMR stacks up in 3 years time on the dividend front vs a company that earns all profit in Australia. Maybe a share buyback, utilising the profits earned offshore, is the longer term plan. Or a Cambodian sale?
