I would be of the same opinion considering the adverting reason on two of my posts despite using them purely as reference.

I have also been in contact with support over this and they have no responded on this with it being over two weeks and yes I have made follow ups to it. Usually the support is really quick when I have contacted them previously with the turn around time usually being a day or two.

I do try to work within their rules however if I reference an external site here on EM1 it seems to be modded for advertising however if i don't reference it then it would be modded for unsubstantiated information I feel given I didn't reference the material.

I can understand if there was a financial interest in driving traffic to the source of information as that is posing a conflict of interest however I have no financial interest on reference sites so I hardly consider it advertising.

Perhaps if support/mods/HC can assist me on this there wouldn't be confusion on what is allowed and not allowed to be posted as it seems I am not the only one with the confusion.
