Not sure why the backlash over MLM . Some of the biggest companies around have been built by MLM. First 15 years of the Internet was filled with 3rd party (MLM) re-sellers of products they didn't own but sold and got a commission. Did it myself, based in Sydney and sold products for both USA and UK companies. USA and UK was into this well before Australians thought it was a good idea. Influencers used today are virtually the same except they get paid upfront with no guarantee of return, yet MLMer's only get paid on results. A good farmer grows many crops, not just one.
