Given that EM1 has their only partner being MTN atm and MTN operates in South Africa, I wonder if this is going to have any impact on the games EM1 are doing with MTN.

Given the user have to be over 18 to sign up it may not be to much of an impact however these games are not really targeted at 18+ so if mum's and dad's were signing up for their kids to play and these drafted rules are enforced then it might not be good for EM1/MTN.
If you want to see what one of the games are like for free then just do a google search for them and you will find them and see that they really aren't designed for an 18+ audience.
Then again EM1 has previously stated on their annual report (a year ago) that the games are bad, see extract below.
With all considered above with limited appeal of the games to begin with (according to the company itself) and the games not being appealing to an 18+ audience and if the rules are enforced the market for where EM1/MTN could drastically reduce IMO.
