I wasn't happy with the potential/real ambiguity in this statement from my first post.

Green anomaly is modified from earlier focusing on the arcuate structure that hopefully represents a carbonatite intrusion. Very large area to be explored with possible favourable geology extending further to the east and west on multiple holders land.

The very large area was meant to be the entirety of West Arunta not just around Green.

Using a series of maps taken from Joly et al's 2013 paper gives some detail of what was alluded to. [Some previous posts from me on this topic buried deeper in past threads as well.].

As you comment @JandJ my knowledge on these matters is more than most on HC but only limited compared to others with many sections of Joly et al mystifying. The basics are more than enough for HC.

The recent discovery of carbonatites in the West Arunta was not really expected. Certainly the Joly et al paper didn't consider the possibility and in fact rated the potential for IOCGs as low - extract Page29

Maybe the sodic and mafic-ultramafic rock lack is partially addressed by recent drilling.

Age of units is of critical importance with the post (1577 MYA) basins overlying mineralisation related to that near Hole EAL001. This does not preclude the possibility of different styles of Nb/REE/Phosphate deposits related to different ages of emplacement.

The 1577 MYA date is from Geol Survey of WA dating of a(?) sample from ENR's first hole EAL001 after it was suspended in October 2020. While just a single point that needs further results to determine the significance of that age dating, it is useful for starters.

    Locations - approximate only.

With the focus the detail comes out though based on a combination of early mapping and geophysical interpretation with little or no drill data input. Carbonatites/Lamprophyres have been found in recent drilling indicating some revision will be necessary.

The Lake MacKay Quartzite unit is one that stands out as being spatially related to some (Luni, P2, Green, Emily) of the carbonatite discoveries - at this scale. Personal comment paraphrased greatly from Will R(?) 'the quartzite unit is not well defined and needs further work'. One example of where further work is relatively obvious and with the economic incentive of these discoveries and associated access there is a collaborative approach forming between companies and government agencies (I believe).

Lake Mackay Q spatial relationship - coincidental? Faulting? other??

There are two major magnetic ridges - Luni/P2 and the Mt Webb/Pollock Hills in the south. Between there is large areas of subdued magnetics which probably have low potential for shallow targets such as Luni.

The northern ridge is held mainly by ENR and WA1. Agrimin 'accidentally' having some of the SE and eastern margin in WA including a prominent magnetic high similar to Sambahr (south of Luni) which may be Band Iron related.

Main tenement holders of northern magnetic trend overlain on RTP magnetics and google earth to show extent of northern Lake Mackay (matches Agrimin tenements).

Between the two ridges magnetics are commonly subdued which may( or may not ) represent deeper cover, especially under Lake Mackay. Local magnetic peaks in this area probably represent ridges/peaks of more resistant and magnetic lithologies mostly below some cover.

Later basins dominate the West/North and far south. Drilling at Top Up Rise intersected low grade, thin, copper mineralisation related to related

To the east of Lake Mackay WA1 have pegged part of the trend.

    Processed gravity
Reflects the northern magnetic ridge quite well with the Mt Webb (southern) ridge more dissected.
The strong gravity highs from Sufficiency Knob to Pollock hills are weak magnetic features probably covered by Canning Basin sediments. Drilling at Top up Rise did intersect IOCG related copper some 15 years ago. Technical success but too low grade.

Going back to a regional scale for a summary of sorts

    https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/5934/5934421-7a4054bfc33cde6bee98c804c44cbd7c.jpg

Orange lines = North and south trends of magnetics + gravity. The Northern one extends into the NT where WA1 has a block of ground.
ENR (and WA1 and others) have ground to the north which is mainly in the Murraba basin and adjacent "Hidden Beds" which post date the 1577 MYA age of the sample from EAL001 (ENR/GSWA).

ENR has some large blocks of claims in the NT to the ENE which may be a different splay of a complex faulted margin of the southern Murraba basin. The southern block of possible ENR claims (registered under same name as those to the north and at Carrara/Jessica) seem to sit in mag/grav limbo at this scale. Very broad scale with linear features possibly representing major faults.

Joly et al show images like these for a roughly NE SW sections.to give some hint of structure - will be way more complex.

Late and too complex but will post
