I remember reading that there were calls for him to go about a year ago not long after the CBI issue surfaced. It seems a series of board-level squabbles have pushed him over the cliff. It's not uncommon in start-ups, and even larger caps.
Occasionally, the company founder gets kicked off, like when Steve Jobs was kicked out of Apple. But some info is surfacing Tom has gone for personal reasons.
