I am sure in some recent (or perhaps not so recent) interview, Tom alluded to CBI issue being resolved by 30 June. I thought that was extremely ambitious at the time. Given there is no reason given for his immediate 'resignation' this to me suggests that there is still much to be resolved, and it will take longer than anticipated. Just my assumption - but one has to read between the lines, and this announcement allows for plenty of that. The market hates uncertainty and EML is good at dishing it out.
