Nuvei who once wanted to acquire EML for $2.20 per share, was getting acquire by Advent. Their shares jumped about 25% yesterday and MC of $5 billion (USD) now.
I can smell a takeover bid for EML.
This clean up is part of plan.
Previous offer of $2.20 which EML declined that time and if it comes again on table, that will be about 82% from current price of $1.22. I think share holder will accept it with both hands in current situation.
But given the clean up is nearly done with, share price will recover from here.
How much Advent paying for Nuvei, will also matter.
