there will always be ways and means to mine the stuff from underground, but ideally one would want to make some dollars as well. If it is indeed 50m in the vertical direction then you could have a panel of long-hole stopes, but that means a certain grade is required to pay for all of that development and drilling. Gut feel is that it would need to be >1.5% Cu if you can maintain a high rate of extraction/throughput. At some point we need to start talking about capital costs....decline, shaft, processing plant, tails dam etc.

I don't mean to rain on the party, but yes, the share price is at dizzying heights and must almost certainly come back down to something more reasonable.
