Yes, very little reward without risk and the size of the risk is directly correlated to what is unknown. I like to look for risk takers who have the ability, means and aptitude to reduce the ‘unknown’ on my behalf.
Some of the things that impressed me about COD, which I bought into soon after their launch, were the ‘connections’ in the industry that the team have and what seems to be a very methodical preparation and execution.
I’m no geologist. It seems like COD are having a good go at managing risk and we will see if they can bring this venture home.
