Another question related to offtake negotiations would be about how they’re getting along in trying to convince offtakers to pay up for that USD2500/ton HPMSM floor price they need for (debt) financing. Even if it makes sense in the broader scheme of things for there to be a premium vs China material (thanks to EU CRMA and IRA compliance rules for OEMs) and looming potential (deep) forecasted supply shortage, what’s the thinking of these OEMs ? Why are they taking their sweet time in supporting this project ?
