Management recently notably increased their remuneration packages.
Would this be why we sometimes see this?
These options for shares were issued back in time however.
Adequately being compensated for their years building the business & greater gross compensation for if get taken out and lose the positions they so experienced in - in event of takeover?
If perhaps there have already been nibbles through the past year or so?
Although shareholders generally should want the shareprice higher,
It has seemed controlled , and also held down for a long period this year.
Who knows.
But RUL is a very good business.
Their main global competitor was taken over in this past year also.
