This is like a mini share buy back but there is something I don't understand. Someone please clarify the math for me:

$7.24m NZD have been paid to acquire 2.2 million shares - that's around $3.3 NZD per share. This isn't the market price and nor is it likely to be the market price anytime soon. The statement says all shares will be purchased on market. How does one make sense of this?

I like that the trust can buy shares up to $8.5AUD per share - a healthy upside from the current SP. I understand this is almost a ceiling that management does not think will realistically be broken but I would still rather they chose $8.5 as the ceiling and not $6.5!!
