Emu pivotal trial is for FDA approval, First Responder is a feasibility trial….both expected to start this month.
Prior to FDA or TGA approval trials with devices like these are not typically intended to change standard patient care….but rather support specific development or regulatory objectives such as safety and efficacy. Obviously once approved the objective of the devices is to improve triage, transfer or treatment decision making.
