This one's interesting, despite the TGA not being so quick to move on MDMA and similar therapies, it is a different story in the US and I did see something from PyschoGenics last week about its collaboration with Emyria. The understanding I have is that MDMA like doses last 4-6hrs meaning patients being treated don't just undergo psychotherapy, they also need to be monitored in clinic whilst under the dose. So I interpret the metabolic half life studies to mean they refine the 4-6hrs down to avoid day therapies or overnight stays whilst it wears off.
Exciting times for Emyria. There is no bigger stage than the US for this market.
