Did they just give it all away to Aspen for a 5-10% royalty and 400k?? All that work just to gift it to someone. Why not raise cash and contract manufacture themselves? Most likely because they probably know they can’t raise as much anymore..
The terms are heavily skewed towards Aspen’s advantage - they can take it if trials are successful and regulatory stamp is given but walk away if not. All upside, zero downside. The $400k is a joke as the trials have already cost multiples of this and will keep going.
Not sure it this deal was done while everyone on psychedelic drugs, at least from Emyria’s side. Maybe having all that supply on hand is not a good thing after all.
Shame to see one of the drugs with the most potential in the EMD pipeline practically given away imo
