I wouldn’t hold your breath on this one - TGA is a conservative body and imo is unlikely to move before the FDA does (which is still 1-2 years off). they will cite other concerns such as diversion risk and lack of controlled trials.
fortunately - research with psilocybin/MDMA is not impossible in Aus and a bunch of trials are occurring this year. EMD’s timeframe for MDMA-like drugs is longer than 1-2 years as still firmly in the drug dev stage.
TLDR, long term success for EMD not contingent on shorterm success with a TGA rescheduling
