There is no doubt that revenue is looking great.
To change the figures the next business day does not instill stability.
I totally agree there is ambiguity. It can be interpreted in many ways
(i) that we didn't get it right on Friday
(ii) we wanted to be conservative in the quarterly report - why?
(iii) we don't really know what the true sales numbers are - they fluctuate so we'll just pick one
(iv) there's positive news coming but we want to be conservative about our comms
(v) my CFO and I haven't slept so the numbers look blurry
