Many of us share your enthusiasm regarding EN1, but acting so defensively to every critical post doesn't help your case. There is nothing wrong with what @cnlmcl asked: ironically, his post added more to this discussion than your reply.
Perhaps everyone here should focus their energies on drafting knowledgeable replies to any posts they find "critical" - that way, everyone learns more and the forum becomes a more useful resources for current and prospective holders. At this stage, some exchanges throughout the EN1 forum resemble a group of children running around the playground and yelling at each other.
If a critical post on a share forum is met with anger, defensiveness or ridicule, (not referring to you here, but generally), then it indicates that those replying to said post aren't smart or patient enough to counter with a educated response.
