nah from my understanding its just a snap shot of time in this case between 18/3/2019 and 4/4/2019 all it means is in this given time period there were more sellers than buyers. eg bell potter had the most sellers of any broker in net volume so those had had shares before 18/3/2019 have sold the most between 4/4/2019
were common wealth had lots of buyers between that period interestingly hartleys dumped the lot in that period with zero buys.
nothing to do with shorting the stock, hope that helps
