There were some interesting comments from enCore in their recent webinar on the 20th (US time) where they ever so slightly addressed Paul Goranson departure (yes he got fired), sale of new Mexico assets, and then Alta Mesa project. It was clearly stated that the primary focus of the company is on Alta Mesa. They have more rigs on site, getting more next week and are expecting more in the next month. They reiterated that the well decline curve is a good problem to have but was somewhat unexpected and are therefore way behind in wellfield development but are catching up. They explained the previous owner/operator was less concerned about the immediacy of production (being in private hands) but now that it is owned by enCore there is a lot more transparency and need to produce consistent results. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt on this point as I know some of the current team had worked there in the past.
