It is very good news.
It does however clarify the process here: that this is not just validation of the current algorithms, but the expansion of the dataset that feeds the algorithms. So, to the extent there will be some failures, they in fact lead to an improvement of the sensitivity and specificity of the test.
If the current algorithm picks up all bleeds and excludes all non-bleeds it will be a massive bonus.
However, I note they didn't say anything about the thrombotic strokes. We know they picked up/excluded the bleeds, but we don't know about the detection of thrombotic strokes.Or did I read that wrong?
